It offers various services such as Application Services, Quality Engineering, Cognizant Infrastructure Services, Cloud Enablement, Assurance, and Core Moderation. Cognizant serves around 15 industries, such as capital markets, banking, oil, healthcare, travel and hospitality, media and technology, retail, consumer goods, life science, manufacturing, etc. The company also has seven themes, mainly Code Halos, AI Primary Research, Blockchain Solutions, etc. Cognizant is listed on NASDAQ and is a component of both NASDAQ 100 and S&P 500. It offers class A shares, and the ticker of the company is CTSH. Between 2002 and 2020, the company has acquired over 64 companies and businesses worldwide. The same year, Cognizant was formed after D & B spun off its subsidiaries, such as Ericsson, DBSS, Strategic Technologies, and IMS International. The first headquarters of Cognizant was established in Chennai. The company was renamed Cognizant Technology Solutions in the year 1997. Over the years, the company faced many ups and downs and made various changes in the policy, management, and rules. As of 2020, Cognizant ranked 194 on the Fortune 500 list. For the quarter ended Sep-21 the revenue rose 11.8% to $4.7 billion year-over-year. Digital revenue grew 18%.
