McDonald's Corp is an American corporation that owns and manages one of the world's biggest networks of fast-food restaurants. It was established on 15 April 1955 by Richard and Maurice McDonald. Every day, they provide service to about 54 million individuals. They are the second-largest fast-food chain in the world, behind Subway, in terms of the total number of locations. Their founders opened their first restaurant in San Bernardino, California in 1940. McDonald's food is sold in the US at a higher rate than in any other country. McD's restaurants are known for serving hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken nuggets, french fries, breakfast dishes as well as soft beverages, milkshakes, and desserts.
