Company Information

Applied Materials, Inc. is an American firm that manufactures semiconductor chips for electronics, flat panel displays for computers, cellphones, TVs, and solar goods using equipment, services, and software. Applied Materials' materials engineering solutions are utilised to make practically every new chip and sophisticated display globally, and its experience in changing materials at the atomic level and on a large scale allows clients to turn ideas into reality. Applied Materials (NASDAQ: AMAT) is the world's largest semiconductor fabrication equipment provider in terms of revenue. It is also a significant provider of LCD fabrication equipment and solar PV production systems to the flat panel display sector. Samsung Electronics Co., Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., and Intel Corp. are among Applied Materials' customers, offering its forecasts a window into the investment intentions and confidence levels of some of the greatest names in technology. With over 14,300 patents, it boasts the most robust IP portfolio in the business. Every day, including Saturday and Sunday, it files more than four new patent applications, on average. Applied Materials has offices and other facilities in Canada, China, Europe, India, Israel, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and the United States of America to support its global client base. The corporation invests about $1 billion per year in research and development to secure process and product leadership.
