According to Indmoney.com, as of June 2, 2025, 91.43% of 35 analysts recommend a 'Buy' rating for Reliance, with an average target price of ₹1564.74. Potential long-term risks could include evolving regulatory landscapes and increasing competition across its diverse segments. However, its consistent profitability and clear growth strategies in emerging sectors support its long-term investment profile.

Why reliance share is rising?

As of 10:41 AM on June 2, 2025, Reliance Industries Ltd. (RELIANCE) was trading at ₹1403.40, which is a decrease from its previous close, not an increase. On May 30, 2025, the stock closed at ₹1420.90. Therefore, the premise that RELIANCE share is rising today, June 2, 2025, is incorrect based on the available data.

However, looking at recent news for the broader Reliance Group, Reliance Power shares have seen a significant surge. Reliance Power hit a fresh 52-week high on June 2, 2025, trading at ₹62.18, a jump of 7.02% on the National Stock Exchange. This rise is attributed to factors including a new order for its subsidiary Reliance NU Energies for a 350 MW solar power project with battery storage, and a reported consolidated net profit of ₹126 crore for the January-March quarter (Q4 FY25) due to lower expenses. Reliance Power's stock has rallied approximately 54% in the past month as of June 2, 2025. It's important to distinguish between Reliance Industries Ltd. (RELIANCE) and Reliance Power, as their stock movements and the reasons behind them can be different.
