SBI M-Passbook: Steps to Download

We all have digital devices, yet we get worried about fraud and mistakes made during the installation of the applications, especially when it comes to financial activities. To install the SBI mPassbook securely, we are here to guide you. Follow the steps below for your convenience:

Step 1: Open PlayStore on Android and Apple Store from iPhone. Search for the SBI m-Passbook application. 

Step 2: Click on ‘Download’.  Once the application is installed on your device, open the same. 

Step 3: Select the language you prefer to use. SBI services are available in both English and Hindi.

Step 4: You have to enter your registered mobile number linked with your bank. You will receive an OTP for validation. Open the message application from your device and enter the six-digit numbers you received on the SBI mPassbook application. 

Step 5: Now, you have to set your 4-digit log-in PIN, called MPIN. 

Step 6: Now, you are ready to use your SBI m-Passbook. Tap on ‘Start Using Passbook’.

SBI M-Passbook: Log In Process

Customers with bank accounts at the State Bank of India can register for their m-Passbook via their customer ID. Once the registration is completed, account holders can easily use their m-Passbook via mobile or Internet banking.

M-Passbook Access Online: SBI YONO

If you want to access your m-Passbook online, you must follow the steps below:

Step 1: You have to download the SBI mBanking application. The app is available for Android and iPhone users.

Step 2: Launch the application when installed. Now, sign in with your customer's mobile banking PIN or MPIN.

Step 3: Click on ‘m-Passbook’ option

Step 4: Now, choose the account number and proceed to the next screen by clicking on ‘Continue.’

Step 5: The customer can now access their digital m-Passbook. Here, they will get the information covered in the m-Passbook mentioned above.

M-Passbook Access Offline: SBI Anywhere

SBI lets their customers access m-Passbook without internet connectivity. You need an online banking username and a valid m-Passbook PIN to access your m-Passbook offline. Here are the steps you must follow:

Step 1: Open the Apple Store from iPhone or Google Play Store from Android devices. Search for ‘SBI Anywhere’ and click ‘Download’

Step 2: Now you have to open the application where a click for ‘m-Passbook’ appears. Click on the link and proceed further.

Step 3: You must enter a Customer Internet Banking ID with a 4-digit m-Passbook PIN.

Step 4: The SBI account linked with your m-Passbook will be shown on the screen

Step 5: Now, you should select the account to view the account balance, transaction details and other information covered in the m-Passbook of your chosen account.
