The IndInfravit Trust was set up on March 7 2018 by LT Infrastructure Development Projects Limited (LT IDPL) as an irrevocable trust, registered as an infrastructure investment trust under the SEBI InvIT Regulations. The Trust's investment objectives are to make investments in the infrastructure sector, as permissible in terms of the applicable law. Its initial portfolio included five toll road projects in Rajasthan, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Telangana, and later, to this eight more projects were added (including 6 NHAI projects and 2 state projects). The Sponsor of the Trust LT Infrastructure and Development Projects Limited (LT IDPL) and LTIDPL IndvlT Services Limited are the Project Manager (PM) and Investment Manager for the Trust, respectively. During the year ended 31 March 2020, the Trust raised Rs. 292355.05 Lakhs in primary capital and issued 250411177 units at the price of Rs. 116.75 per unit, as per the InvIT Regulations of SEBI. The Trust acquired 8 operating road assets from Sadbhav Infrastructure Projects Limited (SIPL) totaling to a length of 2300 lane Kms in Karnataka, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Telangana. The acquired projects have been operational on an average for over 6 years and form a significant contribution to India's economic growth. Despite the toll suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Trust almost achieved its targetted revenue for the year amounting to Rs. 1017 Crore and made distributions to the unit holders amounting to Rs. 10.18 per unit. During the FY2021, the Trust had an actual revenue of Rs. 14904.81 million, whilst making distributions to the unit holders of Rs. 2.1598 per unit.
