It is a Switzerland-based tech company traded under the name of LOGN at SIX (Swiss Exchange) and LOGI (at NASDAQ) in the trading market. It was incorporated forty years ago on October 2, 1981, in the State of Apples, Vaud, Switzerland. This technology-based company was founded by three founders, namely Daniel Borel, Pierluigi Z., and G. Marini. In 2001, the company acquired the Labtec organisation by offering $150 million to expand its reach in the peripheral computer market. In 2008, Logitech acquired Ultimate Ears, which dealt in in-ear monitors. Also, in the same year, it made a game-changing announcement of manufacturing one billion computer mouses. Further, it purchased Lifesize communications, maker of video conferencing equipment. The current CEO of Logitech is Bracken Darrell, who took over in the year 2013. Logitech then acquired many big players in technology. It incorporated Jaybird and Saitek brands in 2016 and Astro Gaming in 2017 for $85 million. Logitech, appraising the potential of Blue Microphones, purchased it in 2018 for $117 million. Seeing the burgeoning Live streaming industry, it purchased Streamlabs in 2019 for about $89 million. Logitech (Logicool in Japan) is a firm that owns big brands with an employee pool of 7000. The company is one of the leading manufacturers of input & interface devices for digital products worldwide.
