About SBI Magnum Midcap Fund Direct Growth

SBI Magnum Midcap Fund is a mutual fund scheme designed to have a higher exposure towards stocks listed in the Nifty mid-cap index. Mid cap stocks are stocks which have a market capitalization of between Rs 5,000 and Rs 20,000 crore. They provide the opportunity for strong growth but also come with some risks attached.

The fund aims to generate high returns in the long term tenure. The fund is managed by SBI Mutual Fund, is one of the largest mutual fund houses in India, which manages multiple mutual funds and has an AUM of over Rs 7 lakh crore as on 2022. Investing in mid-cap stocks can be more volatile than investing in large-cap stocks, but it also has the potential for higher returns, making the fund more suitable for investors with a higher risk appetite.
