During 2008-09, 3i Infotech acquired 100% stakes in various companies in India, USA and UK, and set up partnerships with ICICI Lombard, Bharti Airtel and Max New York Life. In 2009 they launched ISERV, a rural retail initiative, and eMudhra to empower Indian consumers with digital signatures. They also formed a joint venture with Yucheng Technologies Ltd in China, and set up an office in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. 3i Infotech has grown into a prominent global IT company, providing a wide range of services and products to customers across five continents.
