Archies Ltd., formerly known as Archies Greetings and Gifts, has been engaged in the manufacturing and trading of greeting cards, stationery, and gifts since 1979. The company entered into a technical collaboration with the American Greetings Corporation, and Gibson Greetings Inc. USA, to produce cards with their designs that are sold under the Paper Rose and Fine Expressions brands. AGGL has a retail chain of 250 franchised stores known as Archies Gallery and Archies The Card Shop, and exports goods to a variety of countries such as Muscat, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, and the UK.

In order to explore the e greeting and ecommerce market, the company incorporated Archies Online.com, Ltd in 2000, taking on a 99.84% stake of the company’s ownership. Archies has also partnered with Feelings to open 25 additional stores. The company also tied up with CRY to print and distribute cards for charitable causes. Recently, Archies Ltd signed an agreement with ICC to launch a value-added product, Express Wishes, in association with Blazeflash Couriers. The company also discontinued its perfume division, but has entered an agreement with a third party to use its Archies Perfume brand on a royalty basis.
