Mitshi India Limited, formerly known as Dera Paints and Chemicals Ltd, was incorporated in 1990 and in 1998 experienced a huge fire which led to the cessation of manufacturing activities. Overtime, the company faced immense challenges which resulted in a shortfall of capital, leaving them unable to restart manufacturing. To combat this, the company began trading commodities in 2016, and issued 1,839,930 equity shares of Rs. 10 at par for necessary approvals. During this time, services like software developments, hardware and computer activities, logistics business and ecommerce ventures began. In the following year, the company further ventured into online and offline businesses such as the sale of vegetables, fruits and scrap commodity. This drive allowed the company to establish a presence in 48 chemical trades and 50 software activities. The continuance of such business activities in the subsequent year strengthened the company further, leading to the successful completion of goods and services transactions on a 100 basis, with the addition of a logistics and software divisions.
