Salora International, a member of the Salora Group, went public in March 1993. It manufactures color & black-and-white television sets and components such as flyback transformers, deflection yokes, and loudspeakers in technical collaboration with Matsushita Electric Industrial Company Japan. It is India's largest exporter of BW television sets and earned the Golden Export House status in 1999.

In addition to its own products, the company exports ready-made garments, leather goods, and other items. It is now setting up a 100% export oriented knitting unit in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu. It has also partnered with Mothercare India to market children's wear in Europe under the brand name 'Little Kingdom'.

Salora has forayed into power industry by selling high-frequency power equipments to Department of Telecommunications and private telecom equipment manufacturers. It has launched a range of Panasonic products, including fax machines, printers, and a whiteboard called Panaboard. It also received the Sony Quality Appreciation Award & Samsung Best Vendor Award in 1999-2000.

In collaboration with Infoquest Ecommerce Pvt Ltd, it has launched JadoNet.com Ltd to provide cost-effective internet accounts. Also, its facility has been certified for the ISO 14001 standard. FX Info Technologies Ltd was ceased to be its subsidiary as the shareholding was reduced to 483040 equity shares.
