Spectrum Electrical Industries Limited was originally incorporated as a private limited company in 2008 as Spectrum Polytech Private Limited. The name was changed to Spectrum Electrical Industries Private Limited in 2018, when the company was converted to a Public Limited Company. Mr. Deepak Chaudhari, the promoter of the company, started his entrepreneurial journey in 1995 with M/s. Spectrum Electroplaters in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. It undertook zinc nickel tin copper silver and gold electroplating. The business extended to Nashik in 2003 in the form of a partnership firm with Mr. Devendra Rane and Mr. Chandrakant Rane. The partnership firm added distribution box manufacturing activities for Anchor Electricals Pvt. Ltd. and ABB Limited in 2012. In 2004, M/s. Spectrum Fabricators India Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated by Mr. Deepak Chaudhari to expand fabrication capacity. In 2008, Mr. Deepak Chaudhari and his wife Mrs. Bharti Chaudhari established the partnership firm M/s. Spectrum Polytech for injection moulding. In 2017, all group entities and respective assets and liabilities were transferred to Spectrum Electrical Industries Limited with effect from April 1.
