About Global Capital Markets Ltd

Incorporated in 1989 as Baid Company Pvt. Ltd Global Capital Market, the company became public in 1993 and changed its name to present name in 1994. Promoted by Inder Chand Baid, a chartered accountant and member of The Calcutta Stock Exchange Association, the company is engaged in leasing, merchant banking, investment banking, stock broking, bills discounting, shortterm finance, corporate loans, and other services. By providing leasing in 1994, the company decided to finance highvalue machinery and vehicles. Aiming to expand its operations, the Company went public in 1995 and increased its capital base to offer more fund and nonfund-based services.
